Don’t despair, folks. I know what it takes for a newbie to succeed in the field of blogging.  You have to pay for hosting services, buy a domain name, and renew them in the succeeding year. Therefore, financial constraints hold back a newbie like you and many others from going for tools meant for keyword research, plug-ins, SEO optimized themes and a host of facilities available over the web. As a result, you do not get the desired level of success.

A keyword research tool available for premium provides you with all sorts of information. Whether you stand a strong chance of ranking for a keyword or not. How many SERPs are there for that keyword, a number of backlinks, incoming links etc. But, right now, they may not be affordable for you.

It, therefore, makes sense to source keywords from points that are free. Isn’t it? Trying to delve deeper into the question, I started reading posts after posts on sourcing free keywords from the web.

From what I came across till date, I have arranged a list of some free sources and strategies using which a good number of free long tail keywords can be obtained and used for your blogs, websites.

Based on their search history, these search terms become the untapped keywords of tomorrow. When you start building content around such keywords, they are instantly lapped up by the end users.

SOURCING FREE LONG TAIL KEYWORDS FROM GOOGLE BOOKS & WIKIPEDIA :-  While surfing the internet, looking for keyword sources, I stumbled upon two blog posts from Nate Shivar on Google Books and Wikipedia as free long tail keywords sources.  While Wikipedia is a recognized keyword sourcing point, Google books was the first of its kind.

I am sharing Shiv’s recommendations on Google books.  Google has started storing millions of books in its systems.  You, therefore, will have access to those books simply going to Google books.

As per Googles, searching a book is as simple as searching any term in the web.  Go to https://books.google.com.  type a search term in the browser.  Say for example I type search engine optimization.

Google will automatically link it to the search results.  Scores  of book details will be displayed in the results pages.  Ignore the URL with the ISBN Nos.  Instead, just select the book title along with its expansion and copy it.

Now, move to the Google Keyword Planner and insert the same in the landing page box.  Click on the box – get ideas.  Look at the results.  You will see tons of long tail keywords free with details like search popularity, CPC etc.

Likewise, Wikipedia is also considered an authority source of getting free long tail keywords.  Authority sources like Neil Patel often regards them so.  Hence, it is gracing this list.  For more untapped sources of keywords read this.
